ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Colton Kantola - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect for new customers using leads, referrals, networking, community outreach, and agency marketing campaigns.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations to identify needs and recommend appropriate Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance coverage.
• Quote, explain, and sell insurance policies; guide customers through coverage selections and benefits to ensure they fully understand options.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects, consistently following up to move leads from first contact to bound policies.
• Manage policy renewals and retention efforts by reviewing coverage, assessing changes in customer needs, and recommending adjustments.
• Perform outbound calling and customer follow-up to support agency goals for new business, cross-selling, and growth.
• Support marketing initiatives and actively participate in community events to generate qualified leads.
• Prepare applications, collect required documentation, and ensure accurate submission of policy information and paperwork.
• Maintain organized customer records and sales activity in the agency management/CRM system to ensure timely processing and reporting.
• Work with customers to ensure smooth onboardingeffective dates, payment options, and documentationwhile delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate with agency team members to meet sales targets and improve conversion rates.
• Stay current on State Farm products, underwriting guidelines, and competitive positioning to strengthen sales outcomes.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns related to coverage and billing in a sales-friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Pursue professional development and licensing goals, including the opportunity to obtain securities licenses 6, 65, and 63 (as applicable/required by the agency and role).
• Follow all compliance, suitability, privacy, and confidentiality requirements when selling and servicing insurance and related financial products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
