Aircraft Maintenance Training Associate Manager, F-35 - Level 4

Description Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona to lead the Aircraft Maintenance Training Team supporting F‑35 Maintenance activities across the full spectrum of Field Operations at various F‑35 operating locations both inside the US and internationally. Our team is responsible for overseeing a team of on‑the‑job trainers at various locations to ensure the timeliness of curriculum development and lesson plan reviews. What You Will Be Doing / Responsibilities Ensuring all meet/exceed DCMA 8210 and applicable service guidance for all variants of the F-35 aircraft. Work directly with Military, Lockheed Martin and foreign partners to ensure all maintenance training is kept up to date in accordance with all applicable directives. Manage general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Create and assign work‑orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplish aircraft safety of flight releases as required. Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Military, Government Civil Service, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Pratt and Whitney, General Electric and BAE systems employees. Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, Air Force Instruction 21‑101, and local operating instructions. Advise management status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced. An FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license is desirable. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Basic Qualifications Minimum 6 years of F‑35 maintenance experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance, sustainment, or training leadership role. Working level knowledge of programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management, and Supply Chain Management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Desired Skills Maintenance training experience. Working knowledge of DCMA 8210. Experience briefing leadership and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Previous instructor, certifier, evaluator, or curriculum development experience. Experience managing distributed workforces across multiple customer locations. Experience with workforce planning, readiness reporting, and performance feedback. Prior experience supporting international customers and TDY operations. Experience developing, delivering, or managing technical training programs.
