PRN Substitute LPN Classroom AssistantWe are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide substitute classroom support for students with medical and personal-care needs.This is a classroom-based position with nursing-related responsibilities. The LPN will work alongside teachers and other school staff to help students participate safely and comfortably throughout the school day.Responsibilities:Assist students feeding by mouth.Provide toileting and personal-care assistance.Assist with safe transfers to wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment.Support students with activities throughout the school day.Follow each student’s established care plan and all safety procedures.Observe students and promptly communicate health-related concerns to the appropriate school staff.Communicate effectively with teachers, nurses, and other members of the school team.Maintain each student’s dignity, safety, comfort, and privacy.Qualifications:Current, unrestricted LPN license in good standing.Current CPR certification.Experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs is preferred.Comfortable providing toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfer assistance.Compassionate, dependable, patient, and able to work effectively in a classroom environment.Must successfully complete all required background checks and health screenings.Position Details:Pay: $34.00 an hr.Hours: 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.MUST have PEDS ExperiencePRN/substitute classroom coverageClassroom-based school settingFlexible scheduling based on coverage needsJoin our team and make a meaningful difference by supporting students’ health, comfort, and success in the classroom.
