Opportunity:
Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with 5 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active Alaska medical license – only Alaska licensed providers will be considered
• Emergency credentialing required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 5 days
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromo tubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Nearest airport is ANC with lodging options including Airbnb, Best Western, and Grandview accommodations
• Assignment start date: 7/21/2026 – Ongoing
