Registered Nurse – Infection Prevention Specialist in Roseville, California. This travel, temporary assignment begins 06/29/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Perform surveillance, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) and deliver infection prevention education.
- Write and update infection prevention policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA, CMS, CDC, and other national guidelines.
- Apply hospital epidemiology principles to maintain surveillance data and communicate findings.
- Conduct initial assessment and maintain records related to work injuries and illnesses as part of the infection prevention program.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure completion of employee health screenings, annual immunization updates, and workers’ compensation reporting of injuries and illnesses.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Knowledge of infection prevention principles and hospital epidemiology concepts.
- Ability to interpret surveillance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to write and update policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, CMS, CDC).
- Ability to work 20 hours per week on day shifts (4 hours per day).
- Capability to collaborate with Human Resources on employee health screenings and immunization updates.
