Project Manager

Help Shape the Future of Army Aviation Training We are looking for an experienced Army Aviation professional and project manager to support the development and advancement of aviation training and schoolhouse capabilities at Fort Novosel. This is an opportunity to move beyond simply managing projects. The successful candidate will work directly with Army Aviation leadership, schoolhouse organizations, instructors, subject‑matter experts, and industry partners to identify opportunities, solve complex training challenges, and turn ideas into executable solutions. The right person will understand Army Aviation from the inside — how units operate, how training is developed and delivered, and what it takes to move an idea from a requirement to a fielded capability. The Role You will serve as a project‑management and aviation subject‑matter resource supporting initiatives that improve the way Army Aviation trains and prepares its Soldiers. Responsibilities will include: Leading aviation training and schoolhouse development initiatives from concept through execution Working directly with leaders and key stakeholders to define requirements and desired outcomes Identifying training gaps, capability shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement Developing and executing project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables Bringing together stakeholders from across Army Aviation, government, and industry Leading working groups, demonstrations, and key engagements Translating operational requirements into practical training solutions Supporting the development and integration of emerging aviation technologies and capabilities Providing leaders with clear analysis, recommendations, and decision products Managing competing priorities while maintaining momentum toward project objectives Who We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who has lived Army Aviation, understands the training enterprise, and knows how to get things done. The ideal candidate will bring: Experience in aviation training, doctrine, operations, or institutional development Demonstrated project or program management experience The ability to engage confidently with military and civilian leaders Strong communication, briefing, and presentation skills The ability to turn complex problems into practical solutions Experience coordinating across multiple organizations and stakeholders A proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Preferred Experience Army Aviation schoolhouse or training‑development experience Experience at the Aviation Center of Excellence Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Master’s degree in organizational leadership, business, project management, education, or a related field Experience working with government and industry partners Current or recently held U.S. Government security clearance Why This Opportunity Matters Army Aviation is continually evolving.
