Adelphi is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide services at a facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric dental services to children (ages infancy through adolescence), while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards. Implement fluoridation activities, sealants, silver diamine fluoride, and space maintenance to prevent dental issues. Provide routine and complex restorative dental care, including the use of local anesthetics, nitrous oxide, and behavior management techniques. Address dental trauma, pain management, extractions, and perform pulpal therapy as needed. Teach children and their families about proper oral hygiene, dietary habits, and overall health practices to prevent dental problems. Use child-friendly techniques to manage anxiety and fear during dental procedures. Work alongside other healthcare professionals in providing holistic patient care, including obtaining consultative services for specialized needs. Accurately document patient care in accordance with clinic policies and CMS regulations.
