Studio Host Position at Faced The Facial Studio

Join Faced as we open our flagship Charlotte location, which is set to open this winter. Faced will join neighboring tenants DryBar, Williams Sonoma, Lake, Sid & Ann Mashburn and many others in the Specialty Shops SouthPark.

Position Overview: As a Studio Host, your presence sets the tone for the entire client journey. You are the first and last point of contact, ensuring an elevated, welcoming, and efficient check-in and check-out experience. Beyond seamless reception and administrative support, the Studio Host enthusiastically educates guests on Faced services, memberships, and curated retail offerings to drive sales, client retention, and rebookings.

Compensation: $16.00/hour, with bonus eligibility providing earning potential up to $19.00/hour

Reports To: Studio Director

Schedule: Evening and weekend availability is required. Available shifts include a mix of:

• Mondays: 1:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Fridays: 1:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Sundays: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Primary Duties:

• Welcome every guest with genuine warmth, addressing clients by name to build long-term relationships
• Seamlessly guide clients through check-in and check-out, setting expectations for a relaxing visit
• Share the Faced story, treatment options, membership benefits, and gift cards to drive retention and sales
• Partner with estheticians and management to maintain schedule flow and resolve client inquiries promptly and gracefully
• Solicit guest feedback and communicate insights to leadership to continuously elevate the studio experience

Client Service Operations

• Manage phone calls, text inquiries, and emails promptly, professionally, and courteously
• Master the POS/CRM system to book appointments, record detailed client notes, and process transactions accurately
• Conduct proactive client outreach to fill open appointment slots, follow up post-treatment, and assist with product replenishment.

Studio Operations

• Maintain an immaculate, orderly, and tranquil reception area and retail boutique
• Beautifully package retail purchases for guests and assist with product inventory counts and restocking
• Support daily studio upkeep, including laundry cycles, supply organization, and trash removal
• Assist leadership with basic operational reporting and uphold all state board and studio safety regulations

Job Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in high-touch customer service, hospitality, or retail environments
• Genuine passion for skincare, wellness, and clean beauty
• Warm, articulate, and poised communication style across verbal and written interactions
• Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to maintain composure during peak studio hours
• Detail-oriented approach to POS data entry, scheduling logistics, and note-taking
• Collaborative team player committed to client privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable transportation with consistent punctuality

Physical Demands & Environment

This role requires the ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods in a moderately active boutique environment. Must be able to operate a computer, mouse, POS hardware, and telephone system continuously. Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting or moving packages, retail supplies, and laundry bins weighing up to 25 lbs are required. Requires visual, auditory, and verbal capabilities to deliver exceptional client service, process sales accurately, and collaborate with the studio team. A tailored and educational client approach, convenient and luxurious retail location, extended operating hours, accessible prices without add-on service fees, monthly membership options, and an easy-to-use online booking system help ensure Faced's custom facials become part of its clients' monthly skincare routine. Additionally, Faced offers a curated offering of skincare products to continue to enhance our client's skincare routine at home. Faced currently operates four Atlanta-area locations and is opening its first North Carolina studio at Specialty Shops SouthPark.
