Role Description The Corporate Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Saginaw-Midland-Bay City Area, responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role involves supervising accounting staff, maintaining internal controls, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Corporate Financial Controller will analyze financial data, advise leadership on financial performance, and collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making and operational initiatives.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, with experience managing general ledger activities and financial operations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or similar certification is preferred.
- Additional beneficial experience includes prior leadership of accounting teams, knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements, and experience in corporate or multi-entity environments.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
