RAND is committed to a workplace where employees care about what they do and how they do it. Position Overview We are actively seeking a Draftsperson for our Facade & Roofing team. Responsibilities Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements. Review and modify existing drawings as necessary. Ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Incorporate feedback and make revisions based on project needs. Collaborate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency and efficiency in drawing production. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of drafting experience. Degree or coursework in Technical Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; experience with drafting in AutoCAD or MicroStation required. Experience with 3D modeling in Revit Structure and/or Bentley Structural Modeler preferred. Familiarity with US National CAD Standards (NCS) preferred. Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role. Strong knowledge of design principles and familiarity with system design concepts. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work. Strong problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
