Senior Finance Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in New York, NY.Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager, Compensation Finance to lead compensation expense planning, workforce forecasting, financial reporting, and headcount analysis. This highly visible role serves as a strategic business partner to HR, Finance leadership, and operational stakeholders, providing financial oversight of compensation-related expenses, workforce planning initiatives, and long-range financial strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong FP&A experience, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and expertise in workforce planning, compensation analysis, and budgeting.Key Responsibilities:* Lead financial oversight of headcount and compensation expenses across assigned business units* Develop and manage compensation forecasts, workforce plans, and long-range financial models* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to compensation and headcount reporting* Prepare and analyze compensation expense reports, workforce metrics, and variance analyses* Monitor compensation-related expenditures, including salaries, incentives, commissions, bonuses, and benefits* Partner with HR, Compensation, Benefits, and business leaders to support workforce planning initiatives* Develop and maintain headcount planning models and compensation forecasting tools* Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes* Provide insights and recommendations regarding workforce trends, organizational changes, and financial impacts* Build executive reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for leadership* Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor workforce and compensation performance* Lead process improvements, reporting automation, and planning enhancements* Support cross-functional initiatives impacting compensation planning and organizational growthRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field* 6+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, workforce planning, or corporate finance experience* Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling* Experience supporting compensation, workforce planning, or labor expense analysis* Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders* Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Financial Modeling; Workforce Planning Models; Advanced Formulas; Large Dataset Analysis; Forecasting & Budgeting; Dashboard Development; Variance Analysis* Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities* Excellent presentation, communication, and business partnering skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, Longview, or similar financial planning systems* Experience supporting large organizations with significant employee populations* Experience with compensation analytics, workforce reporting, and organizational planning* Experience implementing process improvements, reporting automation, or finance transformation initiatives* Entertainment, media, technology, or corporate FP&A experienceKey Competencies:* Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)* Workforce Planning* Compensation Finance* Budgeting & Forecasting* Financial Modeling* Headcount Planning* Variance Analysis* Executive Reporting* KPI Development* Business Partnership* Process Improvement* Leadership & Strategic ThinkingJob TypeContractCompensation75 - $75
