River Oaks Hospital (a UHS-affiliated hospital) is a private psychiatric facility located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, serving adults, adolescents, and children. The facility offers inpatient, day/partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient services on a 14‑acre campus. Position: Business Development Representative – Baton Rouge/Lafayette Area Responsibilities Identify and engage potential leads through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, social selling, and participation in industry events. Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and print channels to promote services. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, consumer trends, and competitor activities; use insights to refine marketing strategies. Manage assigned territory and accounts, maintaining strong relationships with physicians and referral sources. Achieve departmental and facility business development goals in alignment with the organization’s mission and values. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (experience may be evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis). At least 3 years of documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, or physician relationships—preferably within behavioral health. Prior marketing and/or sales experience in a psychiatric hospital or related human service field is preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Self‑motivated, resilient, adaptable, with a proactive mindset and the ability to overcome objections and adjust strategies based on performance data.
