This is a third shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am, Sunday–Thursday) position located at our Racine facility (8635 Washington Avenue, Mt. Pleasant, WI). The role starts at $20 per hour. Assembler II Responsibilities Use basic hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies. Use laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver to complete modified assemblies to customer specifications. Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed on your own. Use production system to record day‑to‑day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work. Navigate basic LX screens to identify inventory requirements and status as needed and utilize the system as required to make adjustments. Take initiative to ensure priority items are completed and, when needed, seek additional information from lead or supervisor. Participate in and contribute to safety, quality, delivery and cost continuous improvement efforts. Train others in the department. Perform basic 5S and lean concepts to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Education and Experience High School degree or GED preferred. 3+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing desired. Qualifications Understand gluing and centering to specific tolerances, including multiple areas/products. When applicable, ability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment. Basic proficiency with computers, including an ERP system and Microsoft Office. Competencies Collaboration – Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. Working Conditions Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test. Those working in the aerospace department must be able to pass a vision, color vision, and depth‑perception test. Position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
