Assistant Professor (CHS) Job Duties: The Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a urologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) to join two urologists and two urology advanced practitioners dedicated to caring for women with complex pelvic conditions, lower urinary tract disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction. This position will provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care, while advancing the field of urology and training the next generation of physicians. Madison, the capital city of Wisconsin, is situated on several scenic lakes, and is frequently cited as one of the best cities in which to live. It offers an excellent environment for families and a wide variety of cultural and recreational opportunities. A competitive salary and fringe benefit package is provided.
Negotiable, 12 month Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays, and sick leave; competitive insurances and savings accounts; retirement benefits. Required Qualifications: Completion of FPMRS Fellowship required. Preferred Qualifications: For an appointment at Associate Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate Professor on the CHS Track. Education: MD or DO, or equivalent required

- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
- Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles Assistant Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
- Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
