How You'll Make an Impact

Leadership & Team Development

Support the Store Manager in recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team while fostering a positive, collaborative culture where associates feel empowered to succeed. Lead by example and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

Sales & Customer Experience

Drive personal and store sales by building lasting customer relationships and delivering personalized service. Coach and motivate associates to exceed performance goals while creating memorable shopping experiences that reflect the Johnston & Murphy brand.

Store Operations

Help ensure the store consistently reflects Johnston & Murphy's premium brand by maintaining visual merchandising standards, creating an inviting shopping environment, and supporting efficient day-to-day operations that enhance both the customer experience and business goals.

Business Performance

Support the success of the store by using sales insights and performance metrics to identify opportunities, improve productivity, and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Prior management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Professional appearance and willingness to learn.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position involves constant moving, talking, listening, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing for long periods of time, walking, using hands to operate controls and climbing ladders in a safe manner. In addition, the ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
