Mid-Level Data Analyst — AWS Glue & Spark

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, EMR with Spark, and EKS. As a Mid-Level Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading data analysis efforts, designing and implementing ETL processes, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. Responsibilities Lead data analysis projects from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely results. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data into data lakes or warehouses. Utilize AWS EMR with Spark for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets efficiently. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize insights and support decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical tasks. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and AWS services. Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and scalability. Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in data analytics and cloud computing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, EMR with Spark, and EKS. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Requirements AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty certification. Experience with other AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Athena, etc. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
