Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8-hr) / 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10-hr) / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hr); Ongoing assignment; No overtime expected
• Job Setting: Hospital 
• Types of Cases: General Anesthesia; MDs supervising CRNAs (4:1 CRNA to MD ratio); MDs not performing their own cases
• Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment; Obtaining and/or verifying patient consent; Discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient; Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia; Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition; Performance of clinical intervention as needed
• Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 30 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification Required
• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists; Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Willing to accept candidates who need to obtain state license
