Senior Forward Deployment Engineer [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer based in United States.

This is a high-ownership engineering role focused on deploying and shaping AI-powered solutions for financial services customers.
You will work directly with clients to understand their infrastructure, business objectives, and technical requirements.
The role combines full-stack software engineering with deployment, integration, production troubleshooting, and solution customization.
You will partner closely with customers and internal engineering teams to turn complex requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will influence product direction by translating customer needs and deployment insights into actionable feedback.
The position offers significant visibility and autonomy, with opportunities to own complex rollouts and improve deployment practices.

Accountabilities

• Ramp up on the product portfolio, deployment processes, customer environments, and established deployment playbooks.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer infrastructure, business objectives, workflows, and technical requirements.
• Deploy, configure, customize, and integrate solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Independently lead customer deployments and integrations from planning through successful production delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across production environments and help ensure reliable system performance.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and key stakeholders, communicating effectively throughout deployments and rollouts.
• Own large-scale deployments and complex implementations while ensuring technical execution remains aligned with customer goals.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to communicate structured feedback based on customer interactions, technical challenges, and emerging needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, tooling, and playbooks to increase scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the technical foundation of new product offerings by applying customer insights and hands-on engineering expertise.
• Work effectively across technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Adapt to evolving business priorities and take on additional responsibilities as the role and organization develop.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
• Strong command of TypeScript, including experience with Node.js for backend development and React for frontend development.
• Experience using AI tools natively as part of the software engineering workflow.
• Professional experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of software deployment, systems integration, production troubleshooting, and operational environments.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex technical problems in production systems.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to understand customer infrastructure and business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong ownership mindset, bias for action, and focus on delivering meaningful customer outcomes.
• Comfort working in environments where priorities and responsibilities may evolve as business needs change.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites up to 50% when needed, with flexibility based on personal preferences.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, engineering teams, product stakeholders, and other internal partners.
