Details Work in PACU/Pre-Op/Phase 2 recovery across two hospital locations: the main hospital and the Day Surgery Center 1:1 patient ratios Day (5x8, 7:00-15:30) and Evening (5x8, 14:45-23:15) shifts available, with additional shift start times ranging from 0530 to 1445 Weekend shifts required as needed per unit needs No on-call requirements Float required between the main hospital and the Day Surgery Center within scope Uses Epic (Excellian) for charting Requirements Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NIHSS required; additional PALS preferred 1-2 years of PACU experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic/Excellian charting experience required Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required Additional Information Teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation and 317 staffed beds Provide pre-op, intra-op recovery, and post-anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties including cardiac, ortho, neuro, GI, urology, and vascular Scrubs provided by the unit Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed First-time travelers are accepted Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days Local candidates not accepted due to 100-mile radius requirement Pre-start modules are required for onboarding American Traveler Job ID P-750117.
