OT Administrator - West Region

Jacobs is seeking a qualified Information Technology professional to support our OMFS facilities in the West region. The role supports the Operational Technology Manager and the Regional Maintenance Team in delivering world‑class OT/IT services for daily water treatment operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Travel to facilities throughout the region (33–50%). Install, configure, and maintain desktop PCs, servers, managed network switches, firewall security appliances, network cameras, wireless access points, and other industrial hardware. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software on PCs, servers, and embedded devices. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Troubleshoot computer hardware issues. Support daily operational needs for water treatment facilities. Requirements 3+ years of experience in medium business, municipal, or enterprise IT. Strong technical foundation in cybersecurity and networking across multiple platforms. Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service skills. Proactive, service‑oriented, and able to anticipate and resolve problems while maximizing efficient use of resources. Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, PLC, and Industrial Cyber Security desirable. Preferred Qualifications Visionary mindset with the ability to plan ahead and focus on important goals. Certifications or training in IT or cybersecurity (e.g., CCNA, CEH, GIAC SE, CompTIA A+, CISSP). Background in electrical or electronic practical application (e.g., alarm system installation). Compensation The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000, determined by location, experience, and skills.
