Dining and Retail Services - Retail Staff - Spring 2026 (Union Station & Atrium) Starting at $11.00/hour! Conveniently located right on campus! Advancement opportunities available! Union Station Diningand Retail Services is hiring student employees for flexible, on-campus positions. No experience is necessary. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and dishwashing. Employees must be dependable, follow safety protocols, be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, and be available during lunch hours. All duties should be performed in accordance with training and university policies. Physical requirements: Stand for a minimum of 4 hours' time continuously Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, including reaching outward, upward, and sideways Utilize kitchen tools safely, and maneuver throughout a kitchen environment Duties may include: Assist with all phases of food preparation Provide customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner Maintain sanitation standards and portion control Set up and restock serving stations Maintain beverage dispensers and replenish condiments Stock items using FIFO procedures Cash handling and register operation Dishwashing Other duties as assigned Contact/application information: Candidate's availability may affect their eligibility for positions - workers are especially needed during lunch hours.
