Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary:
In this role you’ll assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of cybersecurity risk mitigation for the credit union. The position supports key areas, including information security monitoring, vendor management, incident responses, business continuity and disaster recovery, security awareness, audit support, and cybersecurity risk communication.

Salary: $68,000.00-$86,000.00 yearly Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the oversight of information technology governance, risk, and compliance (ITGRC).
• Monitor information security systems and the analysis of potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist with the development of policies, procedures, and processes for the governance of IT and security.
• Assist in the execution of the vendor management and incident response programs.
• Participate and help facilitate the business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) plans.
• Contribute to the administration of the corporate-wide information security training and awareness program.
• Assist in the preparation, support, and remediation for audits, compliance reviews, and federal exams.
• Participate in the monitoring of in-place security solutions.
• Help identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches detected by installed systems.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of similar or related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of IT Security/Governance practices and methodologies and their execution

Preferred Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in information systems, IT Security or related major, or equivalent work experience preferred.
