Brief Job Overview

USP is seeking a results-oriented Senior B2B e-Commerce Product Manager to lead the capability-driven roadmap and execution of USP's digital commerce platforms and supporting third-party applications. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Technology Operations, this role serves as the critical link between business strategy, customer experience, and technology delivery, ensuring digital commerce capabilities enable a seamless, customer-centric experience across the end-to-end customer journey.

The successful candidate will combine strategic product leadership with hands-on execution experience in enterprise B2B e-Commerce environments. This individual will partner across Marketing, Commercial, IT, and enterprise stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into customer-centric business capabilities, align investment priorities, govern the business roadmap, and deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. Through a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and pain points, the Senior Product Manager will partner with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to inform and continuously optimize the digital commerce experience, translating strategic priorities into prioritized capabilities that improve adoption, self-service, operational efficiency, and long-term customer value.

How will YOU create impact here at USP?

As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. USP prioritizes scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure health systems worldwide can rely on strong, tested, and globally relevant quality standards.

Additionally, USP's People and Culture division, in partnership with the Equity Office, invests in leadership and workforce development to equip all employees with the skills to create high-performing, inclusive teams. This includes training in equitable management practices and tools to promote engaged, collaborative, and results-driven work environments.

As the Senior B2B E-Commerce Product Manager, you bring a business and customer-first mindset to every decision you make. You translate business strategy and customer needs into a clear, prioritized roadmap, ensuring that every platform investment isn't just technically sound but genuinely improves the buying experience for USP's customers while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency for the business. This ensures a scalable, integrated, customer-centric eCommerce experience that drives digital adoption and operational excellence.

The Senior Product Manager has the following responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Support and implement product vision and drive capability roadmap for USP's B2B e-commerce platforms and related digital commerce capabilities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define priorities, and align product investments with organizational goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and business case development through launch, optimization, and retirement.
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights to identify opportunities for innovation and business value.
Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Serve as the Product Owner for agile delivery teams, translating business objectives into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing customer needs, business value, technical feasibility, and operational considerations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to define sprint goals, facilitate backlog refinement, and ensure successful execution of roadmap initiatives.
  • Partner with technology and delivery leaders to establish realistic timelines, manage dependencies, and communicate delivery expectations to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership
  • Build strong relationships with commercial and enterprise stakeholders such as marketing, sales, customer support, finance, fulfillment, and technology teams to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, and prioritization activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and business partners.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Data-Driven Product Management
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer behavior, platform usage, and key business metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Leverage customer feedback, analytics, market research, and stakeholder input to identify improvement opportunities and validate product direction.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and business impact.
Quality & Operational Excellence
  • Oversee and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support quality assurance activities to ensure successful product releases.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, operational challenges, and product issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of e-commerce processes, customer experience, and platform performance.
