We build small, inclusive teams to collaborate closely with our partners to solve the right problems and deliver software that works.About the RoleAs a Senior Product Manager, you'll serve as an experienced individual contributor responsible for shaping product strategy, driving cross-functional execution, and delivering meaningful outcomes for federal customers. With minimal oversight, you'll balance strategic vision with day-to-day execution while ensuring product initiatives meet scope, schedule, and delivery objectives.You'll partner closely with Engineering, UX, DevOps, Business Analysis, and stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize platform investments, and deliver scalable products that enable enterprise capabilities and improve customer outcomes. Success in this role requires balancing strategic vision with technical execution while navigating complex integrations, APIs, and cloud-based delivery environments.As a senior member of the product organization, you'll mentor teammates, improve product management practices, and help shape the long-term success of both the program and the broader product discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with customers and Product Owners to define product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomesLead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and planning to delivery and continuous improvementDevelop and maintain product briefs, roadmaps, and strategic documentation that align stakeholders around shared goalsTranslate customer needs, mission objectives, and technical constraints into clear product priorities and execution plansDrive roadmap planning, backlog refinement, and prioritization while balancing competing priorities and tradeoffsPartner with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment strategies, and operational excellence throughout the product lifecycleDrive collaboration between Engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to improve delivery processes, reduce operational friction, and increase product reliabilityBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and achieve program objectivesAdvocate for user-centered design, Lean product principles, and iterative delivery approachesPartner closely with Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOps teams to remove blockers and keep delivery on trackSupport onboarding of new product owners, producers, consumers, and platform partners by establishing scalable processes and documentationIdentify opportunities to expand platform adoption by building strategic partnerships across customer organizationsHelp define and improve onboarding experiences that enable new partners and users to successfully adopt platform capabilities with the long-term goal of self-serviceUnderstand complex system integrations, APIs, and platform dependencies to connect products and services across enterprise environmentsManage and evolve platform or API-driven products, ensuring integrations and shared services deliver value across multiple customer teams and enterprise systemsCollaborate with technical teams to define product capabilities, APIs, integrations, and platform services that enable scalable adoption across the organizationMentor and coach junior Product Managers while helping mature product management practices across the organizationBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree and 7+ years of Product Management experienceRelevant years of experience may be substituted for education1+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOpsExperience developing product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and prioritizing work based on customer value and business objectivesExperience identifying and removing delivery blockers while driving products from concept through releaseExperience working within Agile product development environments using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar methodologiesExperience partnering with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment strategies, and modern software delivery practicesExperience managing platform products, API products, enterprise integrations, or shared servicesStrong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.Preferred QualificationsCSPO, Certified Product Manager (CPM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Scrum Product Owner/Product Manager, or other related Agile certifications3+ years of experience leading large cross-functional product initiatives in complex enterprise or federal environmentsExperience developing strategic partnerships that increase adoption of products or platforms across large organizationsExperience managing platform or API products that support multiple applications, teams, or enterprise servicesExperience defining API capabilities, product integrations, and platform strategies that enable scalable adoption and self-serviceExperience creating scalable onboarding models, documentation, and self-service capabilities for users and partner organizationsExperience working with cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, or enterprise integration patternsExperience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal Civilian agencies is preferredAd Hoc LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility.
