CloseKnit is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Physician to join our growing Virtual Primary Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care in a virtual-first environment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare.

As a Virtual Primary Care Physician, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across acute, chronic, and preventive care needs while helping shape innovative workflows and care delivery models. What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive virtual primary care services for acute, chronic, and preventive health concerns
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with organizational clinical standards
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all patient encounters
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and interdisciplinary care teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and provider development programs
• Support clinical workflow optimization and operational improvements
• Adhere to productivity, quality, and patient-experience expectations
• Serve as collaborating physician for APPs where required by state regulations

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience preferred
• Virtual care/telemedicine experience preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active and unrestricted physician license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC preferred
• At least 3 of state licenses from : MD, DC, VA and MA
• DEA license with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Schedule & Work Environment

• Hybrid/virtual care model
• Primarily remote clinical care delivery
• Occasional in-person meetings or participation may be required
• Standardized scheduling and operational support provided
