Extrusion Operator

QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience required. Previous experience operating extrusion machines required. Strong understanding of quality control and food safety procedures. Forklift operation experience required. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and address production issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily extrusion department operations to ensure production goals and schedules are met. Ensure finished products meet quality and food safety standards. Monitor production processes and troubleshoot equipment issues. Perform equipment repairs and report significant maintenance concerns as needed. Provide direction and supervision to employees within the department. Operate a forklift to move materials and support production operations. Order supplies and maintain inventory levels. Complete required production paperwork, records, and reports accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and food safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT Manufacturing and production environment. Work areas may be noisy and exposed to hot or cold temperatures. Requires working around production machinery and equipment. Must follow established safety and food safety procedures. HOURS 2-2-3 schedule Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM PAY $23.00/hr base pay $1.00/hr night shift differential for night shift
