This leader works within the Commercial Banking group and targets general industry clients with annual revenues between $1MM - $250MM. The role is focused on revenue growth, business model execution, sales performance, sound risk practices and customer satisfaction.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages sales processes and coaches Commercial Relationship Managers in all relationship development effortsSets call and sales goals, ensuring they are clearly communicated to Commercial Relationship ManagersProvides sales coaching and feedback on pipeline of new and expanded businessEnsures adherence to internal policies and proceduresProvides leadership and support to Commercial Relationship managers while building a team-oriented culture of excellencePerforms general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminationsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or related fieldSeven (7) years of experience in commercial banking, sales, or relationship managementDemonstrated credit acumenPreferencesMaster’s degree in related fieldPrior experience in management/supervisory roleSkills and CompetenciesAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to learn additional systems as neededAbility to supervise and manage a teamAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a team environment when applicableDemonstrated leadership capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong work ethic and self-motivationStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
