JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sales Operations Senior Officer to join our growing Sales Operations team in Chicago. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key enabler of commercial success — bridging strategy and execution by supporting our global Sales and Relationship Management teams with high-impact materials, data-driven insights, and operational excellence. 

What You'll Do

RFP & Proposal Management 

• Lead the end-to-end project management of RFPs, proposals, and tailored pitch materials in close collaboration with the global Sales & Relationship Management team
• Continuously create, refine, and maintain a best-in-class RFP content library to ensure responses are compelling, accurate, and aligned with Alter Domus' value proposition
• Manage competing deadlines and multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all pitch materials

Commercial Insights, Reporting & Analytics 

• Analyze complex data sets — including pipeline performance, win/loss trends, and market activity — to identify lead generation opportunities and potential client prospects, delivering actionable insights to the Commercial team
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve sales performance dashboards and reports that track key KPIs such as pipeline conversion rates, lead-to-close ratios, and commercial team activity metrics
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses to support commercial decision-making, including competitive landscape assessments, market sizing, and client segmentation
• Centralize and curate industry, regulatory, macroeconomic, and FinTech research and surveys to enrich and strengthen sales narratives and strategic positioning
• Translate data-driven findings into clear, compelling reports and presentations for senior leadership and the wider Commercial team, enabling proactive and evidence-based strategy
• Support sales forecasting processes by analyzing historical trends, pipeline health, and external market signals to inform commercial planning

Commercial Technology Enablement 

• Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for the Commercial Tech stack, including Salesforce CRM, providing onboarding, training, and ongoing support to team members globally
• Champion CRM data integrity and hygiene, ensuring accuracy and consistency of commercial data across all platforms to support reliable reporting and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows within the tech stack, reducing administrative burden on the Sales & RM teams and improving overall efficiency
• Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and optimize sales tools and integrations that enhance the productivity of the Commercial team 

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Solid knowledge and experience within the alternative investment industry, including an understanding of fund structures, global service delivery models, and the evolving needs of alternative vehicle participants

Skills & Competencies

• Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven, sales-oriented mindset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting persuasive and professional client-facing materials
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with demonstrable experience producing high-quality pitches and presentations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM
• Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy under deadline pressure
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Collaborative team player with the confidence and autonomy to work independently when required
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across global teams

Pay Range: The salary range for this role will be from $60,000 - $100,000+ dependent on skills and experience. We encourage all candidates to apply and discuss overall package with our recruitment team.
