Sr. DevSecOps Engineer III (6735)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins with integrated security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
• Create and maintain CloudFormation Infrastructure as Code templates for highly available, resilient, and secure DevSecOps tooling across AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot complex system and application issues using Linux command-line tools, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Advise development teams on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
• Design secure Docker images and configure and optimize OpenShift deployments and container orchestration.
• Perform code reviews, maintain technical documentation, share knowledge, and guide junior engineers.
• Provide Tier 1-3 customer support and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project completion.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
• Certification satisfying IAT Level 2 requirements, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
• 10+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, focused on infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and delivery across classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
• Expert experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Prisma Cloud.
• Strong scripting experience with Python and Bash in Linux environments such as RHEL or Oracle Linux.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Experience with customer support and ticketing systems such as GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow.
• Expert knowledge of AWS capabilities including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS, with experience architecting secure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Hands-on experience configuring systems to comply with STIG and SRG requirements.
• Knowledge of security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and frameworks including OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with global enterprise and cross-functional stakeholders.
