Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support a busy independent retail pharmacy in Clinton, MS as a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist with opportunities to work select days in August and September 2026. This role offers the chance to utilize your retail pharmacy expertise while providing essential patient care in a dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• August 20, 2026: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• September 14-16, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 17, 2026: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Additional 1-2 days prior to August 20 for Pioneer RX software training (if not already familiar)

Pharmacy Hours Overview:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Closed Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use
• Manage daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Utilize Pioneer RX software efficiently after training, if necessary
• Uphold high standards of customer service in a fast-paced independent pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi State Pharmacist license with a clean disciplinary record
• Minimum 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
