Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity is designed for experienced retail pharmacists with a minimum of two years in a busy pharmacy setting. The position requires availability on select dates in August and September, providing an excellent chance to apply your retail pharmacy expertise while working with advanced pharmacy software.

Location:

• Pearl, MS

Schedule:

• August 20, 2026: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• September 14-16, 2026: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• September 17, 2026: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Additionally, 1-2 days prior to August 20 will involve Pioneer RX software training if unfamiliar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced independent retail pharmacy.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and monitor for potential drug interactions.
• Utilize Pioneer RX software for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a retail staff pharmacist.
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy management system preferred; training available.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pharmacy Operating Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Closed on Saturday and Sunday
