Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Engage your expertise in retail pharmacy with a per diem role supporting a busy independent pharmacy in Brandon, MS. This opportunity involves delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and operational support on select dates, ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible, focused assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Participate in training sessions on Pioneer RX software if unfamiliar.

Schedule:

• August 20, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• September 14, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 15, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 16, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 17, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Additional 1-2 days prior to August 20 for Pioneer RX training if needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Mississippi State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• Minimum 2 years of recent retail staff pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Pioneer RX preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
