Service Assistant Manager

General Job Description:

A Gasvoda Group Service Technician Assistant manager is responsible for supporting the sales technicians, service manager, customers, and another GG staff in all matters related to the service department. The core duties and responsibilities of a Service Technician Assistant Manager revolve around supporting others. On any given day, they may perform a variety of tasks to ensure optimal performance and support the service department.

A GG Service Technician Assistant Manager is responsible for the scheduling of the department. They must use a CRM to schedule, create work orders and provide critical information to the service department. We expect the STAM to use analytical thinking to strategically schedule the Service Technicians to maximize company profits and time on the road. This individual must maintain the schedule an provide update to the service technicians as time efficiently as possible.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Scan and receive all scheduling and service calls from customers

· Schedule all Service / Emergency incoming calls and rotating jobs that we have going throughout the year

· Strategically schedule calls to maximize company profitability

· Effectively utilize CRM to schedule and monitor service technician’s work

· Monitor service technicians to ensure that they are maintaining schedule and maximizing efficiency in the workplace

· Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Service Department

· Inform the Service Technicians and keep them posted on the scheduling changes as they happen throughout the day

· Stage jobs for Service Technician

· Field and evaluate the emergency calls that are place with the department

· Assist in any building maintenance that is needed

· Provide backup to the Service Department Manager

· Provide backup support to the Parts Manager

· Make sure the Service Technicians have the Service Order for the job with all the correct contact information, site information, and all parts needed to complete the work

 

Minor Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist with shop work when required

· Fill in for the service technicians when necessary

· Provide quotes to Sales Engineers as requested
