The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssesses each patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needsPlans and implements a plan of care with the appropriate nursing interventions specific to the age population servedAssesses educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategiesEvaluate care given including the patient responseDocuments nursing care in the medical recordProvides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who assist the nurse in the plan of careAdministers medications and treatments as prescribedPromotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habitsProvides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of ConductRequired QualificationsEducation and Training:CPR certifiedCurrently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice ActWork Shift DetailsDays - 12 Hours, 7a-7p with rotating weekend and holiday requirements Part-time; DaysDepartment: 4-3 TELEMETRY MEDICAL IP NURSING
