Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Take the next steps in your career with Twin City Staffing. We're hiring a shipping and receiving clerk in Eden Prairie to oversee inventory, keep track of shipments, and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies. Location: Eden Prairie, MN Wage: $20 - $25/hr. Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the shipping and receiving clerk:

  • Account for the location of incoming goods
  • Assure no damaged items are sent or received
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor
  • Update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
  • Package products for return to vendors and fill out any paperwork necessary

Requirements of the shipping and receiving clerk:

  • Experience operating heavy machinery
  • Lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
