Some of the great things offered that reflect our commitment include:Competitive salary with bonus opportunities for various roles100% employer paid medical premium for our associates and their familiesFree Mental Health, Financial Wellness, and Legal Counseling benefits401K with a company matchCompany paid Life InsuranceTuition reimbursement assistanceContinuous learning opportunities through various platforms and resourcesA robust parental leave programCare Relief Fund to help Associates in needAssociate Assistance ProgramPaid volunteer timePOSITION SUMMARYThe Quality Technician I will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure all products are produced per Milo’s quality standards.Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.Monitor compliance with and administer GMP or SQF requirements.Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality compliance as directed.Maintain all laboratory and testing equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.Assist with the receipt of raw ingredients and sample, test and/or review.Monitor FIFO and communicate concerns to the QA Manager.Perform testing and document weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity, and other routine testing as required.Perform environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria according to schedules.Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.Collect and prepare samples for shipment as needed.Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must have an Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school minimum. Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry is preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software including Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr Milo's Tea Company Inc
