The Role We are looking for a Seasonal Medical Assistant who is passionate about making a difference. As part of our mobile care team, you’ll provide hands‑on support to dermatology providers, assist during procedures, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience. This is a seasonal position beginning in November and is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant looking for temporary work while gaining valuable experience in dermatology and surgical care. This is more than a typical MA role — it’s an opportunity to work in an innovative practice, travel with our mobile clinics, and be part of a mission‑driven team fighting skin cancer and improving lives. What You’ll Do Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine) Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab Schedule follow‑up appointments and coordinate patient care Support providers during additional testing and procedures Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations What We’re Looking For Certified and/or experienced Medical Assistant Surgical or dermatology experience preferred Knowledge of Mohs procedures is a plus Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred; training available for the right candidate Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills Dependable, flexible, and motivated to support our mission of creating a patient experience like no other Comfortable working in a mobile clinical environment and traveling with the team as needed Why You’ll Love Working Here Join a supportive, close‑knit healthcare team Be part of an innovative mobile practice Make a real difference by helping detect and treat skin cancer early Gain valuable hands‑on experience in dermatology and surgical care Seasonal position beginning in November Potential opportunities for continued employment based on business needs and performance #J-18808-Ljbffr Onspot-Dermatology
