Physician - Medical Director

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Practice Associate Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative leadership within a community-based primary care organization serving underserved patient populations throughout the Sacramento area. Position details include leadership combining clinical practice and medical management responsibilities. Oversight of Family Practice clinical operations, quality initiatives, and provider performance. Responsibilities include clinician mentoring, evaluation, and performance improvement; development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows; oversight of referral management and specialty care access; participation in quality improvement and compliance initiatives; clinical documentation and EHR optimization; strategic planning and operational support; maintaining an active outpatient Family Practice panel while providing medical leadership; serving a diverse and underserved patient population in a community health setting. Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday daytime clinic hours. Clinical responsibilities include comprehensive primary care services, preventive care and wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care visits, care coordination and specialty referrals, patient and family education, timely review of laboratory, imaging, and consultation results, medical record completion and quality documentation.

Requirements include minimum 3 years of recent outpatient primary care experience, previous leadership or management experience required, FQHC experience preferred, one of the following: MD or DO with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, current board certification in Family Practice, active and unrestricted California license, ability to obtain payer credentialing, BLS certification required, ACLS and/or PALS preferred.

Compensation & benefits: physician (MD/DO) annual compensation: $230,880 $300,144.
