Bioinformatics Software Engineer

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Bioinformatics Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for bioinformatic pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions to meet business requirements Create and optimize data models and develop ETL processes for efficient data handling Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance while developing interactive dashboards and reports Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of scalable software solutions Deep knowledge of at least two programming languages (Python, Perl, R, or Bash) Proficient in various database technologies, including SQL Server, NoSQL, and MongoDB Experience with Agile frameworks and CI/CD practices using Git
