How you'll contribute A CNA who excels in this role: Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by and RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output. Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patients rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. What we're looking for High School Diploma/GED preferred Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Missouri BLS certification required Handle with Care certification preferred Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Comfortable with regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
