Off Road Truck Driver

Position Summary: Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Duty Truck Driver operates heavy-duty trucks typically designed and used for "off-road" transportation of earth, rock, or other mass or bulk materials. Equipment may be, but not necessarily limited to, a back/rear/end dump or bottom dump.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
• Routine fueling, lubrication and servicing
• Cleaning of equipment and work area
• Operate controls
• Positioning truck for loading and unloading
• Dumping/off loading
• May perform other related duties

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction techniques
• 1 to 3 years of heavy duty truck driving experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• DOT experience preferred, but not required

Compensation Data: Salary Min: $34,727 Salary Max: $57,915 Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
