Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Tufts Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including strength training, manual therapy, and movement re-education tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously and adjusting treatment plans as needed based on evidence-based assessments.
• Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers to enhance understanding of treatment protocols and rehabilitation exercises.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure maximum patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Meeting established patient utilization goals while delivering excellent customer service throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The caseload will include a diverse patient population, encompassing various specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. You will have the chance to treat both acute and chronic conditions, engaging with patients at different stages of their recovery to help them achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support certification, preferably through the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective patient education and team collaboration.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training or experience in outpatient settings, particularly in managing complex cases, will be given preference. Experience in using evidence-based practices and a willingness to stay updated on the latest therapy techniques will contribute positively to your application.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
