TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
• Care for surgical patients, surgical observation cases, psychiatric observation patients, and diabetic patients including new diabetics and those with diabetes-related complications
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management
• Participate in telemetry monitoring and demonstrate EKG competency as required during onboarding
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active driver's license required to verify address; no local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
