Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and patients with diabetes-related complications), and palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care needs
• Monitor and care for psychiatric observation patients as appropriate to the unit
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic medical records
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must meet scheduling expectations including flexibility, zero-tolerance policy for tardiness, and unexcused absences

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Background in telemetry or EKG interpretation
