Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a primarily Medical Surgical patient population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, diabetes (including new diabetics and complication-related cases), and general medical surgical diagnoses
• Support palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation patients as appropriate
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
