Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to evaluate clients’ situations, develop individualized treatment plans, and conduct regular follow-up evaluations to monitor progress.

• Engage in family therapy sessions and facilitate support groups to foster a sense of community and trust among clients and their significant others.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and substance abuse counselors to create a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient records are kept confidential.

• Participate in ongoing training and development workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification and those experiencing co-occurring disorders such as substance use and mental health issues. You will work closely with clients to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other related challenges, providing them with the skills and resources necessary for recovery and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits\n
