Retail Sales Associate

Retail Sales Associate
Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions.
Responsibilities:
- Drives sales through engagement of customers
- Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Works with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized
- Maintains product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift
- Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items
- Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items
- Consistently delivers positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
- Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- One year of retail or customer service is preferred
- Highschool Diploma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Attention to detail, ensuring accurate order-taking and payment processing
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
