What You’ll Be Working On As a Copywriter on the Savers Value Village creative team, you will craft concise, strategy‑consistent messaging that aligns with brand identity, supports marketing initiatives, drives business results, and celebrates the thrift experience across websites, email, advertising, signage, and social media. Essential Job Functions Copy Creation & Campaign Execution Write brand‑appropriate copy for customer‑facing materials: website content, email campaigns, social media posts, digital ads, signage. Contribute to email campaigns, online ads, and other marketing materials that align with overall brand strategy and business objectives. Optimize website content for user experience and conversions, ensuring tone and style consistency. Translate business and user requirements into clear, engaging solutions. Manage language translations with third‑party vendors, ensuring alignment and appropriateness. Brand Voice & Consistency Maintain and evolve copy guidelines, ensuring consistent brand voice across all marketing channels. Ensure messaging consistency in digital and print materials, adapting for multiple brands and audiences worldwide. Collaboration & Strategy Generate ideas and copy that connect to approved marketing strategy and creative direction. Participate in creative briefings, ask detailed questions to understand goals, target audiences, and customer journey. Share knowledge and collaborate on best practices. Quality Control & Improvement Review and approve materials for brand consistency, grammar, and effectiveness, maintaining strict editorial standards. Incorporate feedback to strengthen writing and campaign effectiveness. Drive best practices and continuous improvement in messaging. Stay current with industry trends. What You Have Keen observer of language with meticulous eye for detail. Strong writing ability: concise, clear, engaging, conversion focused. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 5‑7+ years of experience working in retail or similar brands. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, related area, or equivalent work experience.
