We are seeking an energetic and caring Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our team on a PRN/On-Call basis , with the flexibility to work day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed . Compensation & Benefits $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (final compensation is based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, certifications, and overall qualifications). What You'll Do As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will: Provide compassionate, hands-on care while preserving resident dignity and independence Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team Support residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration Assist with transfers and ambulation using safe resident handling techniques Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans Foster a warm, welcoming environment through meaningful resident interactions Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care What We're Looking For Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland Current CPR certification preferred Previous experience in senior living, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach Ability to work flexible PRN schedules, including any shift as needed Ability to read and speak English Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive hourly pay Flexible PRN scheduling Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to gain experience across multiple shifts and care settings Meaningful work that positively impacts residents and families every day Mission-driven organization committed to excellence in senior living #J-18808-Ljbffr Nationallutheraninc
