Retail Service Specialist

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations, and will take on shift management responsibilities when needed. Compensation Pay Range: $17.75 – $25.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premium amounts based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution of customer service programs (e.g., Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot). Ensure the telephone is answered in accordance with company policy. Process all buy online/ship to store orders, hub to store transfers, store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders, and contact customers on shipment arrival. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, following procedure and using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issue refunds with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, that any changes are approved by management, and that clocking in/out follows company policy. Perform store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing the store, and checking delivery vehicles. Complete all other duties as assigned. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Required Strong communication skills. Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Automotive systems and repair knowledge. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
